TS Marine Services has expanded its Wellington operations with a commercial workboat/tug, a Mercury-powered tender and the Wortman, a 19.4-metre dumb barge.
Based at Seaview Marina, our fleet complements our established marine engineering services, providing additional options for commercial operators, marine contractors and businesses working on the water.
We also hold a Maritime Transport Operator Certificate (MTOC), supporting commercial vessel operations under Maritime New Zealand's safety framework.

The Wortman: Our 19.4-Metre Barge
The Wortman is a dumb barge, meaning it has no independent propulsion and is moved using a suitable towing vessel. It offers a floating platform that is suitable for waterfront maintenance, marine construction support and equipment or materials handling.
The barge may also provide a useful base for contractors working on wharves, pontoons and other marine infrastructure where access from land is limited.
Project suitability depends on the barge's approved loading limits, equipment and operating conditions.
Mercury-Powered Tender
Our tender provides a smaller, manoeuvrable vessel to support suitable activities around vessels, marine structures and work sites. Used alongside the workboat and barge, it gives our team additional flexibility for approved on-water tasks.
